what upp??

i just got my first F-150 yesterday. It is a Black SuperCab STX 4.6L V8. Man I've only driven it a little, but it is amazing. As of right now, it has a bed liner, 6CD in-dash, and thats about it. lol. i plan to add a nice exhaust, CAI, sound system, and some step bars, but im kinda new to the whole thing. does anyone have any ideas as to where i can get all this stuff? I want to get nice stuff, but dont really care to add the top, top of the line stuff. anyone have any ideas or anything?

save yourself some money and remove the silencer on your intake do a search for silencer removal really easy big gains and free!! Also take the STX badges off....if you like. Becareful modding is addictive.

 

Congratulations on the new truck! I have a 4.6L as well and I will give you two ways to get what you want and save money. The first thing to do is to remove the intake silencer from the intake tube. You will feel the difference. Throw a K&N in the airbox and you just saved yourself quite a lot of money for the same gains as a CAI. For exhaust, I would recomend a Magnaflow muffler welded into your stock tailpipe. Get a tip welded on if you want. That should cost you between $100-$150 and will sound and perform great. After those two mods your truck should be making more power and a lot more noise!
