If you have signal issues with your phone you could look at adding one of these. I can be at 1 bar of signal strength on my phone and when I start my truck it jumps to 4 or 5 immediately.

Duke - Here is a Nextel Phone with Built in BT - It is not cheap but here it is anyway. Get your company to buy it

Yeah that's the i870. I'm going to get that phone if I can't get the i930 to work with a bluetooth SD card.

The reason I'm staying away from the i870, even though it already has bluetooth, an AWESOME screen clarity (262K in i870 vs 65K in i930), and a 1.3mp camera in the i870 vs .3mp camera in the i930 IS that the i930 runs windows mobile instead of the java stuff the i870 runs.

Windows mobile will be a lot nicer to have when syncing up my email and calendar in outlook.

You also have to make sure that the bluetooh SD card is compatible with your desired phone and includes the software/drivers for your phone.

I know I am digging up an old thread but, F150 Duke did you ever get the Parrot kit. If so, any pics?

Hey Countyboy04,

Nope I actually decided against it. I'm going to wait for an aftermarket flatscreen double din headunit to come out with navigation and bluetooth built in or as options. There should be a couple coming out this summer so I'll probably wait for about a year to do this.

If you have an overhead rail system you might want to take a look at the BrandMotion BlueTooth system made just for the F150.

Dear F 150 Duke,

Brandmotion has a great solution for you if you are looking for a hands-free phone system to pair with your Bluetooth phone and to be fully integreated into your vehicles interior. I love mine!

Wow, you and MeanGene get the data mining award for finding an old thread of mine!

I actually installed the BT unit that goes with my Pioneer Z1 headunit that I installed over the summer. Works great and is fully integrated within the truck!

Thanks for the info.

Dang, I should have copied the link but up in the navigation section of this forum there's a nother thread about bluetooth and the use of the Parrot. there's someone here that is using one, and I'm glad to know the Parott kit works in the F150. I have one installed in my Tacoma and plan to take it out.

Here's a pic of it installed for those interested.

and a link to the full album of the install so you can see how easy it is.

I bought mine from www.parrotkits.com

Now if Usaspec gets there Ipod adapter, I'll be all set.

I have this unit installed in my F-150 but the sound doesn't come through the stereo speakers.

Any other custom installs of these kits? Anyone? I'd like to install a bluetooth kit, but no need for the rails system style...

I just installed the Parrot 3200 LS-C in a 08 Supercrew. Love it. Crystal clear and an easy install using a quick connect harness.
