A few new mods to my SCREW

I promise to get some pictures posted I did to new things to the truck recently. One may get people upset at me. The first one was adding the Dodge Ram 4x4 tailgate emblem to my tailgate on the opposite side of the Ford Oval. It looks factory and I like it a lot. It makes the tailgate look even now

Secondly I modded my factory step bar brackets. I hacked 1.75" out of the brackets and re-welded them. This brought the step up tighter to the body giving IMO a cleaner fit and finish, and I still am able to fit my foot on there with no problems. Overall it was a great mod. Look in my gallery for pics this week.

And last but not least, I removed my 2 inch rear blocks.

Talking

Yes, I'll give you **** about that 4x4 Dodge badge ... just like the other guy on here who did it. Most Ford owners will recognize it as a Dodge part ... and almost all Dodge owners will. They'll look, they'll point, and they'll laugh. Okay, that's enough of a hard time. Want something that looks "Ford" stock or even more unique/custom, then use your imagination, contact www.BilletBadges.com, and pay the $.

Oh, and ...

The stock "F-150" tailgate emblem is 1.5 by 8 inches ... in case anyone needs to know.

The emblem doesn't look bad, I thought it would have been more of a dodge oriented emblem, but it's somewhat universal with chrome. I am thinking of putting something back there, some sort of lariat emblem.

Looks great! I like what you have done with the side steps, very clever. The emblem does look sorta universal, although I do cleary recognize it as Dodge. Not bad though! If you like it, that's all that matters! I can't talk, I have the Harley emblems on my truck, but I'm gonna remove them as they don't look as good as I thought, at least on "my" truck.

Great mod, adding Dodge parts could only make a Ford better!!!

Truck looks good. Dodge emblem has to go though. Most people won't notice unless their truck freaks like myself. Plus I think its a little big comapred to the f-150 emblem. You have an A.S. leveling kit, then you took out the rear blocks????????

Yeah, I am going to use the site GordoPanocho suggested for a new close matched 4x4 emblem. I took out the AutoSpring due to alignment issues and turning radius being affected. I am considering putting the blocks back in and doing a custom 1 inch puck lift in the front. I just like playing around, so I try different stuff. I am saving up for a real lift in the spring.

I just click on the camera in my posts.

I just learned something new!

Thanks!

yep, you can tell they are dodge emblems. I remember seeing people putting the old chrysler/dodge "turbo" badges on cars back in the late eighties/early nineties and you could spot them a mile away.

I would be nice to see more emblems on our billboard tailgates, though...
