Asinatra has the part numbers on every post he adds. Look him up. Where do you guys get the chrome handles from. I think that mod look great on every color. How much of a pain in the @#$ it to do yourself?

I sent the ones ASinatra had listed as full paint to match to Torrie McPhail at Ford Parts Network and asked Torrie to verify and give me the quote so I could order them

It's hard to tell but I took a look through your gallery and it looks like the silver on the truck and the silver on the LT handles don't quite match. Is that just lighting and angles or is the colour match not quite the same?

 

to be honest, my 04 silver was a shade warmer than the silver of the handles, but i have a tailgate from an 05 and its the same. all the 05 parts i have match each other, but dont match mine perfectly, although it is rather close. the lighting in the pics i have show it worse than in daylight

 

haha, i was just in YOUR gallery and found your dent funny, i had one in the same exact spot, ive filled and primed it but havent had it painted yet

 

So is it safe to assume that there was a slight colour change in the silver from 04-05 and the 05s actually match the LT handles better?

Here's the story if you care enough.

 

the LT parts should match an 05+ truck perfectly. i dont know why didnt match mine perfectly. its definately not as bad as the pics in my gallery, thats because of the flash of my camera, the handles look brighter. its a warm/cool silver difference.

i got my dent from a trailer, it was much worse, haha

 

I have a silver metallic 05' Supercrew. I am trying to look up the silver metallic Mark LT handles. I checked the paint code for both Lincoln and Ford, and Metallic Silver is "YN" (Thanks Asinatra) Well when I go to fordparts.com I enter for instance......6L3Z-1626605-YN and it brings up nothing. I enter 6L3Z-1626605-DE and it finds up the part. The last 2 letters are supposed to be the paint code. I cant find "DE" on the paint code list, but yet it locates the part. I enter my code "YN" it cant find it... what gives??

 

For the new part number that you have the paint code for silver metallic is DD. I just ordered mine a few minutes ago.

For some reason the tailgate part number was the same old one 5L3Z-9943400-AAE. Makes sense right?

 

hey tical, you should definitely go for it. i think silver and chrome look awesome together. besides, you have the hook up. get some dark shadow gray ones for me and we can do it together. i still haven't seen you around town yet, weird.
