Has anyone put a 12" subwoofer underneath the rear seats in a crew cab? I originally wanted to put my old sub under th seat but after looking it looks like it would be way too small. Is it possible without sticking out from underneath the seat? I realize I would have to change the box that the sub is mounted on, which doesn't matter to me.

Ive got a 12 in my supercab under the rear seat and im pretty sure they share the same seats. I made the box myself and it has about a cubic foot of airspace, with an infinity reference 12'' sub in it. Sounds very nice for a truck box, however the box does stick out approx 2inches from under the seat so it cuts into the leg room a little but with a screw it should be less of a problem.

Actually, I think the Screw rear seat is an extra inch longer on the bottom, so the same box would only stick out 1 inch.

I'd be interested in those pics as well.

I wish someone would post the dimensions of these boxes.. I'd love to build a box for two 10"s or 3 8"s..

Do the seats fold all the way down? Even with the hump?

How much?

And what kind of floor mats are those?

Yes, it fits perfectly fine w/ the hump. Underneath the rear seat is a hollow area which the hump comfortably presses up in.

The floormats are Husky...worth every penny.

Drop me an email or PM if your interested in the sub/box...your email/PM feature is disabled.

Can you please show me some images of the husky liners at a better angle, and of better quality if possible. I'm about to buy them. I NEED them bad, FLIPPING cats hop into my truck at night and pee on the factory mats, I forget about the rear slider or one of the windows and they get in, I have to remember to look at the back windows (I'm used to a supercab).

I have a couple of pics only of the rear mat in my gallery (click my sig). Keep in mind the rear mat had to be manual cut to make room for my amps and sub.

Nice box
I did 2 10"s under teh seat of my screw and its is pretty nice. I did however mess up on some dimensions and made it too long so it sticks out an inch. I will have pics after thanksgiving.

I added a 12" under by rear seat. I have a 2004 Screw. You can see the pics in my gallery. I looked at alot of differnet subs. The only ones that fit without sticking out really for or having raise the rear seat were shallow mount subs. Do a search in this forum for more info. Let me know if you have any questions.
