Alright guys, this is my first truck EVER so I don't know anything when it comes to them lol....what are some popular wheel sizes and tire sizes that will look aggressive (ie bigger than stock tires to make it look more off roadish) that will fit stock ride height? or am I going to need a lift kit? Sorry abotu the vague questions

I live in Tampa too (and went to UF). I just put 35's on my truck (see my gallery), I have 33x12.50 Mickey Thompsons with a lot of tread on them (only 9k miles of use). You should check them out, I'll give you a good deal.

I would not do 35's without a lift, but you can do 33's with a leveling kit, and 31's without anything. I like BFG M/T's because they pull good and and get good wear will being price pretty low and they don't make alot of noise.

Is your truck a 4x4? If it is, I would install a 2.5 inch Autospring leveling kit with a set of 325/60-18 Nitto Terra Grapplers on 18x9 inch wheels with 5 or 5 1/2 inches of backspacing.

Ok there is a package on wheelsforless.com that I think would look alright on my F150. What sort of lifting would I have to add to put this combo on my truck?

Would this leveling kit work in fitting these wheels? The wheelsforless.com website suggests a 2" leveling kit for 295/17 wheels. Here is what the website says:

'A 2" leveling kit will work for 295/70R17 and 33/12.50R17 as long as the wheel has a minimum backspace of 5.0".'

Here is a picture of a gray F150 with these wheels on it, I don't know if that's the same size tire as offered in the package but I think it looks good:

I think I would go with a 285/70-17 tire, which is basically a 33x11.50-17. A 295/70-17 is a 34x12.00-17 tire.

 

Both of those trucks you posted pictures of have Fabtech lifts on them so don't expect your truck to be that big.
