New here and here is my new truck!

Well I just got a truck two days ago....got a great deal on an '05 that a local dealer still had on the lot. What are some basic and not too expensive mods that can be done to improve the power and mpg? Forgive any future dumb questions this is the first truck I've ever owned! Now on to the pics!

Is that an autometer sticker on the back window?

Or a Pennzoil sticker?

Yup it's a line-x sticker, having them take it off when it goes in for detailing along with the dealership badge.

You can add value to that immediately by removing that UF plate off the front end! Just kidding man. At least you're keepin' it SEC! We don't even have a football program at UK!

I think your truck looks pretty sweet. I looked hard a red Lariat before I bought the FX4. I think had the FX4 not been red we would have bought that instead. I think the Lincoln Mark LT painted door bezels would really help the look of that truck. Black looks so out of place with the white. As far as power, I think the best bang for your buck will be a tuner. Troyer seems to be quite popular around here. Welcome to the club.

Sweet truck man. Yeah if I were you I would start with some flowmasters, that lets your truck breath better. Then get a K&N filter kit. Maybe try those for starters. Nice truck
