I had mine since July and it's a nice add-on. The sides use velcro but the tail uses a channel design to 'lock' in place. It rolls up and out of the way when you need to haul items on the bed. Overall, it's great and I would recommend the Extang RT cover to anyone who would ask.

I have had one since last april. I LOVE IT. It is easy to use and can roll it up anytime I need to haul something tall. NO wear issues at all and I keep it clean and looking good.

Wow, awesome feedback.

Last questions, I promise. Do you find that water catches on the top? I see its pretty flush with no middle arch.. Water doesn't collect on the top, does it?

And where did you guys but it from?

I paid $309 shipped for mine. It was from an ebay vendor, I think their name was exotic auto.

It's not from being properly taken care of. You need to look closely to the last folding part of the cover near the latch area/lock. It looks like it is rubbing up from the bottom side. check yours carefully. Mine was installed from the place were i got it, and it's going back....

i got mine at autoanything.com. i payed just over 300 shipped for mine. as you all have read, i'm very happy with mine. WELL, there is a small sign of wear about 1/2 inch long by 1/8th of inch wide underneath the cover, where the latch is in contact with the vinyl. i wiped it with a damp towel and it wa just a scuff mark that went away. maybe you just got a messed up one...
