I almost bought a 95 Z Turbo, but it turned out to be beat to crap. I have always thought they were some of the best looking sports cars made.

Welcome to the Forum and Congrats!
Thanks for the compliments. I've been into the Z's for a long time (owned a '72 240Z, '83 280ZX, '90 300ZX (non-turbo), and currently the '90 Twin Turbo and a '71 240 (restoration project)). You do have to be careful when looking for used Twin Turbos - if they aren't beat to crap, they're riced out

As for the F-150, it was a close race between this and the Titan. For the longest time the scales were tipped in favor of the Titan, but one of the deciding factors came down to the lousy service from the local Nissan dealer (warranty work) whereas we've had exemplary service from the local Ford dealer when we had work done on our Expedition. I'm not trying to start a "this truck is better than that truck" thread, but I will say that the Titan and the Ford trucks (F-150 or F-250) were the only trucks I was considering.

Needless to say, we're very pleased with the F-150 and couldn't be happier with it.

What's with Nissan and poor service?
I have a 04 Maxima(Wife's) and I love the car! Well except for the turning radius. But the service is really, really bad service.

I just sold one last night to a previous customer just like it, only it was all white (monotone) and not 4x4. Those Expys are great vehicles, but having had it for 9 years, it must be a 1997 (first year). If so, it looks good for being so old. Congrats on the nice new pickup, you're gonna love it.

Thats what Im looking for a 4x4 all white lariat with crome package! Hard to find so far. You have any pictures of one?

I have to totally agree. My last daily driver before the F-150 was a 2003 Maxima SE 6spd. I loved everything about the car (ok, rear drive would have been better) but the service at three of the local Nissan dealers sucked. Yes, I have had issues with a Ford dealer but three in one area is just too much.

You take the good with the bad. Weekly washings I have a hose and drain inside the garage, so my cars get weekly washes virtually year round (the garage is heated too, so nothing freezes up in the winter).

Oh, and it's a 400+ft driveway. Paving it would require more money than I'm prepared to shell out. Plus, my wife has horses and she was worried that they would slip and/or fall when it's iced over in the winter (it's bad enough now, but I'd have to invest in a large pile of salt to keep the ice under control).

After firing off a lemon letter to Nissan, they responded pretty quickly and we chose another dealer to look at my car. This dealer was much more responsive (perhaps due to the letter and the involvement from the regional office) and got the problems fixed. Unfortunately, they are about 30 ~ 45 minutes from my house, which can get pretty inconvenient when you have to drop off the car and make arrangements for a ride. This is what really killed the deal for a Titan truck. Not that I was expecting to be running it to the dealer for a bunch of warranty issues, but merely the potential for going to a dealer that was so far away made the decision for us.

I still love my Nissans. I've owned countless Nissans for over 20 years and still swear by them. But, now I swear at my local dealer's service manager for the hassle I went through with my Murano. The only reason I took it to the dealer was for the warranty work anyway - everything else I do myself (I just don't trust dealer hacks [not all of them, just most of them :-P])
