Putting an XLT console in a regular cab and making it a two seater I can see... putting the Lariat flow through console in an XLT screw or scab, I can't. Still beyond me why they put a non-adjustable 20% seat in the regular cab, can't even put my daughter's carseat on it without it nearly hitting the dash.

To each his own I suppose.

quackrstackr, good point and I SHOULD have in hindsight, but I didn't. Not concerning myself regarding any resale value and if that was my only motivation, it would be a very stupid and economically unjust. I am doing this because one, I like it and want to pull it off, shifter included, and two, because I can't leave my truck alone!

I've pulled dashes before, so I know what I'm getting into. I'm going ALL the way and HARD CORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK. So why didnt you get the floor shifter and flow through console when you bought the truck? In my opinion I dont think its worth all of the work. Considering you will still have the column shifter.

I should have, been didn't even think about it. Was excited when I saw this truck. Over time you realize things you should have gotten. The column shifter will go away once I locate a floor shifter.
