Congrats man! I'd really like to go to the track... just isnt a track close around here.

Im hoping for about the same as your times.

Regular cab, 4.10's, AirAid intake, 1714 tuner and custom exhaust.

Looking at your setup you should do BETTER than me. Those 4.10's and smaller tires will help out alot. Seemed when I was at the end of the qtr I was only half way through 3rd gear. I feel if I had some more gear and/or smaller tires I could have taken more advantage of that strong powerband our trucks have.

Just take the drive one day and do it. You'll be glad you did and good luck! I would really love to see your times.... would like to know if that 4.10 would make that much of a difference.

I get my Xcal2 tuned on the dyno on Nov 19.

After that, I promise I'l go to the track.. If the 1/8 miles track is closed, I can go a little further to the 1/4 mile track.

I'm looking foward to it too.

Ive never raced my truck.. or any truck for that matter at the track. I might feel a little silly.

Had my 95 Grand marquis at the 1/4 mile track once.. 14.1X lol.. It was chipped though with 4.10 gears and some other crap.

Dude... if you can race a 14 second Grand Marquis then you should feel no shame bringing tht F150 out there!

Here in Houston it seems like there is every car imaginable out there. Let's see.... Friday night there was a Viper, Explorer, Tahoe , SRT10, several Z71's, F350's,Lightnings, Titans, Hemis, etc etc etc.

Only thing I noticed was that I had the only newer F150 out there! Got alot of attention, people kept asking me what these things will do, I heard they were slow, blah, blah. Made me feel good to tell them it runs in the 14's
Really surprised most of them (including myself)
