37's OR 35's

I am getting a 6' Procomp lift for my 2004 F-150 Fx4 reguler cab and im getting new wheels and tires i want to know for one if these rims would fit and two if they do fit could fit 37's with out rubing or having to cut? 17x10 Cheyenne (6X135 Bolt pattern) 4.5" Backspace http://www.4wheelparts.com/4wp/produ...LD&expand=sub6

I've always wanted to go 37's because they come in a 13.5" but am yet to see anyone pull it off w/ the typical 6" lift ( I don't want to be the guinny pig either).

I've asked my local shop for their opinion and they think it can be done but slight rubbing may occur.

First the rims should work...mine are 4.5 backspacing and work fine on the Fabtech lift.

About the 37" tires...the will fit if they are 12.5" (they will rub a bit at full turn). My friend has them on his FX4. If they are 13.5" I'm willing to bet they will rub. There is a guy on here that has 37 x 13.5 x 20 w/ a crazy backspacing (can't remember what) and claims he has no rub even at full turn.

I'm looking for a set of used tires (37 x 13.5 x 18) so I can try it myself.

I'm going to 37's in the spring, I have plenty of clearance. The Iroks I have are 13.5's but they are 36's.

I don't think you can fit 37's because of the 10 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of backspacing.

I am pretty sure that if I can go with 35x13.50R20 with a leveling kit(minor trimming), that someone could run a 37x13.50R17 with a 6" lift. Although you might want to get a wheel that is not as wide as 10". My wheels are 20x8.5 (with +22mm offset and 5.475" backspacing) and Pro Comp states that even an 8" wide rim is fine.

Remember, wheel width and backspacing are just as important to fitment as tire size.
