What kind of HIDs did you get? How do they look? How much and where did you get them and how hard were they to install. I am VERY interested in getting an HID kit. Thanks!

nice . I think you are the first to post on here with the oem harley headlights. I got to get me some of those. oh I was looking at a somilar grill to yours but I was thinking of getting rid of the fx4 grill and getting me a xlt grill so I can attach the one piece black chrome street scene grill and the harley headlights. I think they would look great together. now I just got to get me a xlt grill preferably black.

oh and pardon my stupidity but what the heck is a HID?

Nice truck man! Just love our regular cabs!

I think I may pick up the HD headlights, I think they would look really good on my black truck.

High Intensity Discharge headlights, like those found on most modern luxury vehicles (Mercedes, BMW, Lexus, etc.) They are very bright and usually white or blue in color. I'm sure you've seen them before. You can read more about it over at Wikipedia .

Thanks guys, Todd if your thinking of getting the headlights just get the tails aswell. They just go perfect with eachother. I got a good deal for the set of 4 for $315 w/tax at my local Lincoln dealer. I was going to get the Harley grill but had just got the one on the truck about a week ago. Here are some better pix of the tail lights and headlights, see how the amber is smoked? looks real nice IMO.

is it just me or?

Two questions,
First can people please mention how much the HID kits cost?
Second, if i remember correctly, you get new wire harnesses, but you can stil use them in stock fixtures right?
Thanks for clearing things up.

This kit cost me $280 shipped. Yes stock headlamps and harnesses are used.

Well, I took my time and did a neat job, did it in about a hour. Not very hard at all.

Did you get the single beam (no high beams) or the bi-xenon (hi & low)?
