SCab sub option

A friend of mine had one of the Kenwood KSC-SW1 self enclosed subwoofers sitting on the shelf in his garage, so we thought we'd throw it in my '05 SCab to help the 6X8's with a little bass. I have to admit I didn't expect much, but this little sucker puts quite a bit of bass into the mix. Not a hard hit like even a single ten, but a nice bass tone to fill out the sound quality. Fits easily under the seat, has a wired remote control (that I am not using because my Alpine deck has seperate sub output/controls), and for the price, might just be the ticket for someone who wants to improve sound but not use as much space as the QLogic or a custom box might use.

YMMV-I am just running deck power to the Boston (front door) and Infinity (rear door) speakers, and the ampifier for the kenwood unit just keeps up. Once I build a box and install more amplifier power, this will be coming back out of my truck. In the meantime, he gave a couple hundred for it and ran it in a leased car for a couple years, and it does a nice job of improving sound quality.

Got one in my scab behind the back seat. A tight fit but totally stealth. This little sub rocks pretty well for its size.

I was wondering if it would fit behind the seat. I wish I could hear one in person. Might be the ticket for me. Think it could keep up with some amped components?

Maybe, but honestly Im not sure. Then again its hard for me to say since my components are runing off of the stock head unit. They may drown out the sub. Cant say for sure though.
