Really? I think it's pretty sweet, and would strike fear in the hearts of the idiots doing 40 in the left lane... I just don't think the HD grill looks good with the AzB. Or Blue. Or Red. I think B&W, and possible the slate or whatever color you can get on the FX3½...

 

Just remember its for you dzervit, so if you like it than get it.

 

I picture dzervit in that souped up delivery truck with the train horn and the liscense plate that reads "BEATNGU" from that Jeepers Creepers movie.

I've got to agree w/ Big D on this one. I like the vertical grille much better. Now I'm gonna go against the grain of the forum and say that I dont care much for the HD grille. It can work on Thumper's truck because the Bull Bar (or any truck w/ the Bull Bar) hides the GAP, but for those w/o the Bull Bar it just looks awkward, IMO. The 06 bumpers have a smaller GAP and can pull off the look, Again IMO. Also, is there any screen or anything behind the HD grille? That is an awful lot of open space between the pieces of the grille for debris to get thru

 

Nothing wrong with having opinions here! Honestly, I think the HD grill does work better on darker colors, although there is one white Lariat here with the HD grill but with the chrome surround and I'll say it looks pretty damn good. In thumpers case, with the AzB color, having the bull bar is a plus which allows me to agree with GB150 in that this allows some coverage of the pre-06 gap. Using the HD grill on say a black or true blue by itself I believe works a bit because the darker colors allow the gap to somewhat disappear in the background. I like the HD grill alot because it's clean and will look menacing with those HD blacked out headlights. I will eventually solve my gap issue (bhahahaha, I said gap) with an upgraded black 06 bumper. Thumper, go for the HD grill!!
