my problem was a rattle under the dashboard,pulled instrument cluster and thought i heard rattle from cluster.so upon further investigation i see purple dots (magic marker) at each retaining clip ear that keeps cluster shut .then i notice where it looks like someone cut thru glue that seals the two halfs together and in puple ink "ok" "chris" after separating the halves i see rub marks where the black face material is moving against the bezel.anyway ,put some padding there and seem quiet, will know more today. but ......why would someone be inside the cluster? did i buy a reset odometer truck?Bought from dealer. Things that make you go ...hmmmmm?

 

well didn't cure my rattle...dam ...sounds like a bb in a straw right under defrost cover drivers side...what a pain....gonna drive around with dash off to see if i can find this..only shows up after about 2 hours of driving.
