2.5 and 34s

hey guys, i have a question. I have a 2.5 leveling kit, on an 05 SC with Helo max wheels, i think they are 5.5 BS. Anyway, i really dont want to go with a 33, they seem way to small for the truck, they wont fill up enough wheel well, has anybody tried a 34" tire, like a 325 65 18? or maybe something a little narrower, i dont know, i just have to come up with another alternative then 33s without lifting it anymore. any ideas or as to why these tires would or wouldnot work?

Bo

A 325 65 18 is a 35" tire.

The BFG tires I have are approx 34.4" in diameter. I have them mounted on wheels w/5.5" backspace. I also have the 2.5" autospring spacers in front. Although my wheels are 17" and not 18" the overall diameter remains the same. Take a look...

I'd go with a 325/60-18. It is right at 34 inches tall and the wider width will make it look bigger. The 325/65-18's are 35's. Remember, tire manufacturers always round sizes up to the next whole number.

wow, ok, now im confussed, atleast i know one thing, im going for the look that ackackadack has, those seem just right, height wise. Now, the questions.....

when i look at like mickey Ts for example, they say that their 325 65 18 is a 34.7" in diameter. how come some tires are 34.7 others are 34.4 etc...

What tire company makes a good AT tire for an 18 inch rim, im used to BFs but they dont have them

Tire sizes have always varied from manufacturer to manufacturer, usually less than an inch. Also, BFG makes a 285/65-18 AT KO which is a 33x11.50. The Nitto's, Toyo's, BFG's, Pro Comps and Mickey Thompson's are all good all terrian tires.

A company that is always over looked is Maxxis truck tires. They make a 34" in just about every truck tire they have.. including 3 mud terrains! I have seen one member with a leveling kit and no rubbing whatsoever. I wish I had heard about them before I bought my 33's.
