Catch-All Floor Mats
I just received and installed Catch-All floor mats into my 2004 SCREW. I am very happy with the front mats, however the color match could be closer. I am not so happy with the rear mat. The design of the mat covers the entire rear floor including over the hump. The mats have lips on the edges for water. The lips is interferring with my rear cups holder. The holder can not come down.
Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do to fix it? I am thinking about cutting it. Any ideas? I don't have a digital camera at home. I'll try to get some pics tomorrow at work.

That won't work. On my XLT the center "console" doesn't move. And Ford had the great idea of letting the cup holder lay on the floor when down.
Can some one post a pic of the cup holder up and down for me? Thanks.

I have the weather tech molded mats. They kick a$$. The color match is perfect and they keep dirt out of that spot between the door sill and the carpet that no vaccuum on earth can ever seem to reach!!!
I have the same floor mats in my 04 Screw and I have the same problem you do. I don't use the cup holders, so it hasn't been an issue. I have the tan interior as I suspect you do also. The color isn't a perfect match, but it grows on you. Overall, I have been satisfied with the mats. I just wish they weren't smooth on the bottom side. Even with the studs drilled into the carpet, they sometimes slide.
I was able to get some pics. Sorry about the quality. I think to make this mat work I will have to cut it. I'll try this weekend.

Slide your mat back an inch or two. I have the same mat in my Screw and it's not that big of a deal. The cup holder doesn't go all the way down, but it's far enough that it holds cups and doesn't spill. I have a 4 year old and an 8 year old and they can make it work.
Overly **** maybe, but just moving it back will not work. I have a custom sub box keeping that from happening. Also, the lip is an 1" or more high so I don't that would work even without the box. However, I don't want to jump to conclusions. Post a pic of your fix so we can all benefit.

I would trim the back of the mat and slide it back before I cut up the front. At least if you cut the back of it noone would notice it unless they were looking for it. Cut the front and anyone in the back seat will see the hack job.
I have the flow through console so I have never seen the cup holders in the 60/40 seats.
Looks like a spill waiting to happen. I don't have any kids, but I am sure that when/if I do I will have to either A)give in to the fact that ***** happens or B)not let them eat/drink in the car.
I lean towards option B, but I understand that this may not work in real world application.

I finally fixed the passenger's side by taking a rear floor mat with the little rubber pins on it that was left over from another car and stripped the carpet off of it. I glued it to the bottom of the Catch-All using contact cement and it hasn't slid around since

I meant to say try sliding the mat back a little to see if the cupholder will clear the lip on the mat. Was just an idea.
