stupid but not to me!
haha, i want to kick his *** in a race while being in my truck
i guess i will just start out with the excal2, intake, exhaust and see how the first round goes, if it doesnt go over very well, i have to options from there, gears,
or i guess i could lossen some of his lugnuts before we race
then blame it on the fact that its a dodge

From what i have read the xcal2 would almost help you beat him; probably make it even. If you do the intake save a little money and do the do it yourself model. From what ive read the DIY intake is just as good as the AF1 and costs 200 hundred dollars less. I had an intake on my old truck and didnt notice much but intakes on these new 5.4's are supposed to help it a bit. Then throw some 4.10's on there. You will smoke him with those and the xcal2. Maybe go with the gears first so Mike can tune your truck with the gears already programmed on there. Then after you have smoked him then talk your shat. After you beat him throw your lift and tires on there and dont race him anymore. You cant lose if you dont race. I know how you feel though, my brother in law talks his shat abou his titan but i cant lose if i dont race. I just know my truck will last 10 years longer than his.

I hear you; I hate what they do to the truck. But it's his truck, and personalizing them is kinda 90% of this forum so...
Still, I wish it was less common. Around here are literally thousands of lifted trucks, and when they run over a small car, it ain't pretty.
Talking to a guy with a 12 inch lift in his Superduty (V10, nice truck) and he was grousing about having to lower it back. He went up and over a Honda, and the judge found him very, very guilty of 'operating an unsafe vehicle'.
What really p... Uh, erked him, was the Honda was at fault, but the Ford was sighted and was having to pay the damages.
Something about legal bumper height or some such clause. He was having to put it back stock out of his own pocket, or take it off road, permanently.
Plus his insurance paid the claim, and dropped him. They don't insure lifted trucks. He had to go with some off the wall high risk outfit, at four times the money.
Not a good advertisement for lifts, I guess.
Oh well, I like them a lot better than all the low riders around here.
Chris
