Mine doesn't have it, but I would think the wiring would be in the door--- Hoping someone can confirm

Mine is an 04. I thought it was standard on XLT's when I bought my truck. Maybe that's one of the items they changed to an option for 05. What year is your truck TCC? Or maybe I just dont know what I'm talking about. It wouldn't be the first time. :o .

If you don't have factory door handle keypad, but have keyless entry FOB,
I highly recommend the inexpensive add-on keypad black stick-on model:
(Note: Only for vehicles equipped with Factory Remote Keyless Entry)

I mounted mine on the forward bed, passenger side, just under the bevel, easy reach.
(every time I need something it's on the passengers side!)
Mounted it right over the line-x bed coating, no one knows it's there.
Always bury cargo up against it, no problems.
Uses massive Mastik lifetime stick-on tape, indestructable, battery good for 100,000 entrys.
Open one door, all doors, or lock it up.

Easy install from manual, Ford part, very cheap on eBay:

Ilander, how do you open all doors with it? I use mine a lot, when my keys are in the house and i want to get into the truck.

After you enter your code hit buttons 1/2 - 3/4 together and all the doors unlock.

No problem, you know the 7/8 - 9/0 together lock the doors also.

My XLT came without door keypad but they gave me the factory keypad code card,
stressing I could add the door keypad anytime, wires are in there, ready to go.

Instead I went with the stick-on keypad in the bed, passenger side.
Very happy with it, low profile, nobody would guess it's there.
(well, some know now... )

Haven't heard of any common problems with keypad break-ins,
just never liked the "inviting" keypad on the door, anything electronic can be cracked.
Only 99,999 combinations! I know, but someone with patience and experience...

Call me paranoid.
One of those unnecessary add-ons that once you use, you can't live without.

This is strange, on my 'o4 just hit only the 3-4 within five seconds of entering the code,
and everything un-locks.

Hit the 7-8 9-0 keys together at any time (no entry code)
and everything locks.
Hit them twice and the horn beeps lock confirmation, scaring everyone within a half mile.

You could be right my last number is 1/2 so I just push it together with 3/4 and they all open. And yes at any time you hit 7/8 - 9/0 everything locks, sorry I wasnt clear with that.

Not be a nit picker, but you hit the 3-4 button within 5 seconds of completing your code, not the 1-2 and 3-4 buttons.

EDIT: I see they caught that in the last post

A long flat head screw driver under the bottom of the handle and one strong tug and your truck is broken into. Forget about figuring codes. You'd be very surpised at how unsecure the lock rods are. My Accord has been broken into twice using this method and the F150 and other Fords use a very similar design.

I don't use the keypad, always have the remote. I think it was an option on the truck for $75.

The keypad is an option on the XLT. It's somewhere between $75 and $120. I'd look on my window sticker, but the dealership threw it away!! But that's another story.

A rock through the window also works. Let's not give detailed info on breaking and entering, please.

Was an option on the XLT, rather cheap, but try to get it on the STX or XL.
