OEM Sub harness
when I was looking into this last year, I ended up talking to a factory assembly line worker on a message board and he told me they do use different harnesses depending upon the options in the truck.
trytokeepup, if you're going to put in aftermarket subs and amps, just run new wires (at the least the main power wire from the battery to the amp).

To provide power for the amp, I got a 10 gauge amp wiring kit. Came with a red 10 gauge power wire with inline fuse. You just wire that straight from the +positive battery back to the + input on the amp. Then ground the amp with the black 10 gauge wire and you're done.
So to avoid more wiring/line output convertors, find an amp that has speaker level input.

Anyways, any wire harness info would be greatly appreciated...I have been doing all the searches I can and haven't found an exact answer...I am about to go to the stealership and get their "knowledge" on the matter...Thanks in advance
If you goto the stealership, stop by the service counter and ask them if you can see their electrical wiring manual for our trucks. and find the section on the audiophile amp/sub. In there, you'll find diagrams and charts with the pin/plug details.

The speaker wires go into the input on the MTX amp, and that provides the signal/sound and automatically turns on amp (no remote turn on wire). I used the rear speaker wires for the amp and I found them in the channel along the driver's side door sill.

I wonder what it would cost to just get the audiophile sub and amp? Im guessing i can spend that much and get better aftermarket system with 10's and sound much better.
Do you think i could get by using 1 10? I really dont want to have to take the jack out and make a huge box to fit under the seat so i was thinking just going with one sub. Maybe even a 12 if it would fit? Im just looking for extra bass but the more the better. I plan on keeping it pretty simple and cheap.
