Question Oil Leak

I have developed a decent oil leak on my truck . I discovered it changing my oil this weekend. It looked like a rear main leak until I started looking closer. It seems the source is at the front of the engine. I looked up and down and pinpointed the leak to be below the valve cover and above the head gasket, on the front of the motor. The leak seems to have traveled along the oil pan to the back of the motor. My initial guess is the timing chain cover is leaking.

Has anyone else experienced a leak like this and what did it end up being?

I searched around and didn't find anything like this, so if I have overlooked something, please point me in the right direction.

I had a bad oil leak for a while. brought it in to dealership and apparently it was serious because on the customer copy of the work done there was about a page of steps they had to take to take apart, repair, and replace everything that caused the leak. thank god it was under warranty! Ill bet a gasket needs to be replaced.
