Unused Green Wire On 2005 Truck Frame

Anybody have/know about the unused green wire tied up under the drivers door on the frame. Either near or inside the plastic 'box' on the frame with wires and connectors in it?

The wire has a 'melted on' cap. Kind of clear brownish color cap.

Its the 3rd brake light wire -like for a truck cap. Why its clear up there I have no idea. My 2002 was at the rear bumper!

3rd brake light. I installed plenty of caps on these trucks and running that wire all the way back to the taillights where i made the connections for the caps is a PAIN IN THE ***
