How come everyone keeps saying that ford has not released the 06 yet? How come someone said that if they're on the dealer lots, they're not priced because they arent allowed to sell them yet?? WTF?? Was I halusinating (sp) when I looked at a White 06 Lariat with the round fog lights in the front bumper? Did I not sit down with the salesman and try to work out a deal? did I not see the sticker price of $38,955? Was it just a dream when I looked at another 06 with the chrome package on it at a dealer in Litchfield Connecticut last weekend??

Guys, they're out there, on the dealer lots ready to purchase. If you want one, go get it. Do a dealer search and check the inventory, a bunch of dealers have them on their websites already.

Sorry for the rant. I just cant believe all the BS about the 06 not out yet.

I just posted in the other 06 thread. I just test drove an 06 FX4 on Friday. There were quite a few on the dealer's lot already. No, Lariats though. I would love to see one of those with the chrome package. I think that would look really good with my 20" wheels. I just wish there was more color selection on the Lariats like the other models.

 

I hear ya on the color choices. The Lariat I looked at was all white with chrome bumpers. Not the chrome package on this one but it looked real nice. I had never considered white before, but It might be when I get my next truck. I just wish I could still get it in Yellow. Just cant understand why they did away with that color

The 06 I test drove was white and looked very good. I have grey right now, but my previous 99 F150 was a white Lariat. White always looks good. It seems like the other manufacturers have a lot of cool colors for their trucks, I just wish Ford would follow. I can't imagine it would be too hard to add a few colors to the paint booth.

 

I know..I hate to even say it, but Dodge has some pretty cool colors. Theres a truck at the local dealer thats bronze and it looks sweet. Too bad its a Dodge

My dealer has seven 06's sitting in the lot. After I started the other thread about none of these trucks having prices on their window stickers I drove over to the lot for a second look. Interestingly enough all the F150 06 stickers say "Vehicle Not For Sale" at the bottom, which would explain the lack of pricing....yet there they sit in the dealers lot lined up with all the other trucks for sale. Weird.

 

Local dealers lots are filled with them, they only have about three 05s left and they're the Roush package ones.

 

Does anyone know if the '06 brochures are out at dealers yet as Ford doesn't have any info on their website yet?

 

Unfortunately I may not have a choice since my truck is a POS and im going thru the BBB Autoline process right now. Id rather a different color than a shakin, shudderin nightmare everyday!
