I like those wheels too madmarty. I even seen them on sale somewhere when I was searching today. but I am leaning tword the american racing chamber pictured in my first post. it is also teflon coated like yours. I wander if it will be dark gray instead of black like yours. probably, but that is ok. I still like tham and like the idea of teflon coated wheels for easier cleaning. and the break dust won't show up as bad on the black or dark gray wheels either. they are a little spendy but I will search till I find a good deal. I am thinking I will find the best deal on ebay as I do so often when products are available on there. so far the best price I have found on them was 191 per rim. but that was not on ebay.

I can't wait to get mine on, I bought a set of American Racing Fuel 8's black center polished rims with black buttons around the rim. Just waiting on the tires 325/60R20 Toyo Open Country's (35" approx) I think they'll look real sweet on my 04 FX4 Yellow. I think I may finally post pics, LOL guess it's about time since this is my 3rd f150 and I've been hanging around here since 97.

I like those fuels alot too. I am thinking of getting them now cuz I can get them in 17X8 rims with the same backspaceing as stock so they wont stick out so much. only 1/2 inch further than stock. not bad. if I could only make up my mind. I would be interested in seeing those rims and tires when you get them on. I think 35's would look good on a 20 inch rim. post some pick for us.

A little off subject, but I have a black XLT and I have never liked the gray spokes on the aluminum wheels. Not wanting to spend the money for new wheels, I spent a Saturday painting the spokes black. I really like the look now on my truck. There are some pics in my gallery, just click on my sig if you are interested.

that looks pretty good bluejay. I would be vary interested to see how long the paint lasts. did you use quality hard paint that will stand up to road grime or just rattle can it. it looks good though.

hay check this rim out. I haven't figured out if they make one to fit our trucks cuz the specs didn't show on the site but the chrome version didn't fit. I will try to find the specs.

Thanks, I really like the look a lot better on the black truck. It became an obsession with me. My wife thought I was nuts. It is spray can paint with ceramic in it. I looked for some epoxy paint but did not find it. I keep wax on them, hope they hold up. If they don't I can powder coat them when I get ready for new tires.

Yes but im not proud of it.
Its before any mods (including tint) were placed on the truck. I owned the truck for 2 days before I got the wheels installed.

If you find a wheel you like, just powdercoat them black. That is what I did and now I have the only set around. Just look for aluminum wheels that are not chorme plated. Here is a link to the pics of my wheels.

how much did it cost you to powder coat those. I wander how well powder coat will stand up to the road grime and brake dust and outdoor weather. I am now thinking my possibilities just expanded. thanks for the idea. I found out the rim I posted last if black chrome. I really like th look of black chrome. I am going to look for black chrome first then maybe consider powder coating something I like. I wander if it is possible to have someone put black chrome on some rims I like. that would be the ultimate. but I am not sure I could find anyone to do that for me.
