Cat's went out....

Just wondering if anybody else's catalitic converters went out on their o4-05. I have an 04 with a flowmaster cat back, a drop in K&N, and a Superchips tunner. Only 14,000 miles and only half with all the stuff on it.

What do you mean by "went out"....there should be no moving parts to a cat....

Cats don’t wear out in 14K

If your programer is making your truck run lean or rich it will cause the cats to fail. My bet its just a bad cat.

Stopped up maybe? Or maybe his Muffler Bearings quit.

Could be low on blinker fluid or have a bad kanuter valve. :fyi:

My truck has started to smell like rotten eggs lately.

Did you get a "Check engine light"? How did your cats fail.

I have 25k on my 04 F150 Flowmaster muffler, Airraid intake and superchips tuner

My cat's usually just lay around in the sunshine on the couch.

But seriously, You would have to notice a rich condition severe enough to saturate your catalytic converters in a couple thousand miles. Are you sure your computer is not just throwing a cat code due to your tuner and exhaust. I know my mustang gt threw codes until I put those o2 sensor eliminators on it.
