20x9 wheels with 10mm offset?

Will 20x9 chrome wheels with a 10mm offset work on a 04 F150?

That should work out to about a 5" backspacing. Stock is 6" I believe

My wheels are 20"x8.5 with 5.5" backspacing on a 6" fabtech and everything fits geat, fabtech only sugests 5" but with the larger diamiter wheel there is more room for the spindles.

On a stock truck it should be perfect.

However they will stickout about 2.5" more than stock.

According to my chart a 9" wheel with 10mm backspacing is between 5.25" and 5.5" of backspacing... So the backspacing will be right... but the wheel will stick out 2 1/2 inches more than the stock wheel. And depending on what tires you are going to run and if you have lift or not the tires being out this far could cause them to rub on the fenders.

PS check out this site for wheel info http://www.rsracing.com/tech-wheel.html

Would rims that are 20x9 with a 35mm offset fit closer to stock.

Do you think a 18x9" wheel with 5.5" backspacing work as well?

According to the chart im looking at a 20x9 with 35mm offset is over 6" of backspacing... Im starting to wonder how accurate the conversion chart is... there is someone on here with MB motoring Express 20x9 with 30mm offset and they look awesome! But, i dont like the wheels to stick out... so you might like less offset better. But either way, i think it is going to be hard to get 10" wide rims to work well without any lift... unless you run a stock size tire.

I found those 20x9 wheels with 30mm offset

its CarlJ's truck... here is a link to his gallery https://www.f150online.com/galleries...w.cfm?num=7827

I am confused? So would a 35mm or 10mm offset stickout past the wheel well?
