I have not, but i can tell you it operates off the clockspring that the cruise, horn, illumination uses. It only uses two wires and operates by the change in resistance. I am unsure if your vehicle has the two wires leading to the audio unit because i know mine doesnt, you would have to look at the audio side harness.

But for reference, here is this...

Switch Resistance Range
VOL Down 69.54-76.86 ohms
VOL Up 195.89-216.51 ohms
MEM 421.04-465.36 ohms
MEDIA 851.39-941.01 ohms
No Buttons Pressed 4,575.39-5,057.01 ohms

LB/RD signal
DG/OG signal return

(the same on both connectors)

Edit: But remember we dont have the EATC, so you will have useless buttons

I wish I knew if the wires are there, I doubt mine has them- - Its an xlt without the audiofile.. If they were, I would buy a steering wheel with the controls.. My wifes tahoe has the steering wheel control and it is very handy!!!

Any chance that light blue wire could be light blue and black? I have the DG/OG and LB/BK...but no LB/RD. Heres the picture, took it with my phone, so its not too clear....

You have DG/OG because its the same return signal for the cruise control, the other wire is not present, and dont believe to be present at the radio either. But none the less is a simple fix, tap into the existing DG/OG and run that to the radio as well as *making* a new wire and running that to the radio.
