NAPA by me always has my filters. Fluck autozone, they are almost as bad as Pep Boys and Advance with all the ghetto goodies. I'm glad I still have a REAL auto parts store nearby.

You did remember that Wally's World is carrying them again, didn't you? :D

I changed my oil for the first time this weekend by myself. I was simply amazed at the engineering someone thought of when they made the drain pan/spout for the oil filter to prevent oil getting everywhere. What a damn good idea.

I also used a Fram X2 oil filter. You mentioned going everywhere to get the motorcraft one why? Of course I also use Mobil 1 synthetic.

Gotta say that I love the Fumoto too. This is the 3rd vehicle that I've put them on. The bone head move on my part is that I didn't take the one off the Jetta I traded for the F150.

Order them online. I bought a 12 pack. No more store hopping for me.

Heck, I thought Wally's World was everywhere. I can't go anyplace without seeing at least one.

Yeah, those motorcraft filters are hard to find! I was planning on changing my oil this weekend but couldn't find the motorcraft filter. Went to Walmart, NAPA, Pep Boys, and Kragen and nobody carried it or they were out of stock. I finally made my way to another Walmart here in San Diego and lo and behold they had 2 left. So I bought both. Hope no other F-150 owner was planning on changing their oil this past weekend.

Actually, I'm amazed that finding the filter was the time consuming part. Several of us have experienced the thrill of removing a factory filter apparently installed by the Hulk. By the time I got my factory filter off (appx. 1 hour with lots of kind words), it looked like a twisted hunk of scrap metal.
