In my case I am looking for a more rugged look. Does anyone have pics of those on their vehicle? I love the Nitto Mud Grappler look, and I am afraid those tires you mentioned as your #1 choice wouldn't cut it as well as the grapplers (or fare even close to as good as the grapplers) in the mud.

Well I can tell you the 37s are kinda loud on the highway BUT perform very well in the Mud and beach sand The ride is nice if you can handle the noise. I wouldn't recommend these tires on a daily driver unless you dont care about hearing them sing. I have some Nitto A/Ts on the silver FX4 and they are very quiet. I dont know how they perform off road but thy ride nice on the street. Let me know if any of you have anymore questions.

My 04 SCAB had this intermittent vibration-- the whole truck would shake violently. Had it in the dealership for 3 days. Drove around with a Ford Motor Co. computer and recording device for 3 weeks. Nobody, not the dealer techs or the Ford regional tech could identify the problem (or were willing to invest the time and effort identify and fix it).

So I dumped the stock Generals last August for a set of Bridgestone Dueler REVOS, after researching it on the internet. I haven't had a problem for a year now-- 265/70--17's and just as smooth as could be. Great winter tire too.
