Dearborn here, too.

Have an annoying squeek in my steering column noone seems to be able to hear or fix, and had the RH bedside replaced under warranty due to the butyl pad issue.

Also, failed TP sensor and failed O/D switch. Both covered under warranty.

Love the truck, but I never had 1 problem outta my '99 Ranger or other previous Ford trucks/cars.

I will never buy a first-year model/redesign again.

 

Norfolk. I, too, have the "Norfolk clunk" occasionally on 1st-2nd shifts. Very intermittent. I'd be interested to hear if your dealer recommends a fix.

 

Ironically enough, I live near Dearborn but my truck was born in Virginia, after seeing the Rouge Plant tour I wish my truck was a Dearborn baby, that place is top notch and clean as a whistle

Dearborn truck MFG 9/04 The only problem was my heater came on when it was 90 outside I took it back to the dealer with the heater blowing full blast I left it there for them to look at it The next day I got a phone call and they told me that they could not find any thing wrong

 

Norfolk, about 20 miles from my home. Absolutely no problems at six months and 5800 miles.

Only problem so far is that I haven't had any time to drive it -- only 217 miles on it since I picked it up the last week of June!
