Front windows tinted

I just got back from getting my front windows tinted. I paid cash and he installed 15% to match the back windows. I will take pictures tomorrow, since it is dark out now.

The price was $90 for Llumar ceramic tint. There is no metallic in the tint and it is guaranteed not to fade or cause problems with radio/gps/navigation reception, etc.

Sounds good, thats what I want to do also, so it matches the back.

I had to go with 35 on the front to stay legal. it is a little lighter than the back but looks close.

Mine is not legal but most people here have 15% in the front. The Florida heat is a killer!

Plus the chief of police lives three houses away and all of the cops know my truck and that I am buddies with him.

Window tint

I had mine tinted yesterday to match the back. It looks good and makes a lot of differance in this Fla. sun.

Window Tint!

I had my front windows done 2 weeks ago with 22% to stay legal. I did not try to get him to do it darker. Next time I will get the eye doctor to give me a letter allowing darker tint. They did an eyebrow on the windshield that is 15%. That shocked me that I could go darker on the windshield than on the side.

The next mod is an undercover toneau cover.

I'm going to get my front ones 20% I think, which is illegal here in TN though, but it's kinda hard to tell since you can still see through it some. It's also hard finding someone to do it illegal and do a good job at it. So the back windows are 15%?? I can still see through mine, I figured they might be 20% at the most.

What kind of tint is the right kind to get? I've heard some say that there is a bad kind that you don't want installed, and there is a good kind also.

That looks great. I have been thinking about doing that as well. I hate having clear in the front, tint in the back. Nice work.

Thanks!! I will be able to roll the windows down tomorrow. It does not take long for the tint to bond with the glass in this Florida heat.

Looks nice.

I have mine darker than legal (both trucks) and Mississippi just passed another law about window tint. They are making hard to get an inspection sticker unless you have a sticker from the state.
