6" fabtech lift cost installed?

for those who have the 6" fabtech lift, what did you pay for the kit and installation? Im looking at getting an 05 fx4 and want to have the dealership lift it when i buy it so its covered under warranty. they quoted me $4000 and the salesman didn't even know what brand lift it was. So, im considering doing it after i buy the truck because i think it will be alot cheaper and i want fabtech. thanks in advance for your response!

If its the Fabtech lift with the coilovers, I'd let them do it!

That sounds about right for a dealer price, double the price of other places.

I had the exact same issues when i got my truck. the cheapest was to take the rebate back then lift it when you have the $$. The dealer was going to mark up the lift/tires too. a bunch of crap.
My total was like $5200 insatlled. fabtech 6" w/35 nittos and 18x8.5 chrome wheels. the install labor was only like $360 I got $2500 cash back in rebates and they 'added' an extra $1500 onto the bill for me and when the credit union gave them the check, they gave me a check for $1500. SO, I ended up getting 4k wrapped up into the loan. for me it was better to just do that then come up with the money later or have them do it. Plus they told me the warranty they offer has to be bought. its a aftermarket warranty through 4wheel parts. it sounded like just extra $$ to me.

4000.00 that's a little steep.. but, certainly worth it if the dealer is giving ya a warranty on it.

I paid $2000 OTD for my 6" fabtech with dual steering stabilizer kit, Installed.

If you do it though the dealer i have a feeling it will be the pro comp kit.
