Opinions on Lincoln grille

Hey guys...whats your opinion on the lincoln grille compared to a CW bolt over. Most people i've seen have the CW since the Lincoln is new but which do you like better? Cant decide between these two.

I like the Lincoln LT grill the best for a replacement grill. I'll probably get one.

That can emblem be removed?! I love the grill, but wouldn't toss a Lincoln badge on my Ford. It just doesn't look right. Kinda like the ricers that slap 'R' on their accords...

Looks kind of pimpy to me. I haven't really paid much attention to the new Harley grill, but I am sure that I would prefer that one, especially on a black truck.

I agree with dzervit and one eyed *****, the grill looks good, but why put a lincoln badge on a ford?

It looks okay except for the Lincoln badge. I'd rather have the new HD-F-150 grill, or the CW replacement grill. I have the CW grills and LOVE the way they look on the F-150.

the emblem does come off, but then you have an indentation where it was. i got the grill because its DIFFERENT and has a factory fit, hell even i dont like that it has the lincoln emblem, but i like the grill

does anyone have pics of the harley grill? or am i being too lazy, maybe i should search

My truck is black, definitley going for the harley grill and probably at some point, a conversion. Ford has some info on the truck on their website now at http://www.fordvehicles.com/trucks/f150/harley/

I'm not too much of a fan of the Lincoln grille...looks to me like it came from a store like this...

It really looks better in person, I think.
Checked out an LT last Friday, at the local dealership, I didn't drive it, as I didn't care that much.

They had water spots all over the grill, and they were starting to eat their way in. Our water is so alkaline here that it will burn paint. Sad.

Anyway, I was wondering if any of the Overlay companies could make a custom F-150 that would cover the Lincoln emblem, maybe an F 1 5 0 top down? dunno.
I think if you have the LT wheels to go with the LT grill, it works better. Five LT emblems make it look deliberate, one makes it look like you found the part...

That's why I haven't put one on my truck yet. I like my Lariat wheels too much to give them up. An overlay or replacment emblem would change my mind.

Chris

chris, the way the lincoln emblem is designed you cannot overlay directly on top of it. you can however remove the emblem and overlay onto the recessed area where it sat. im going to leave it on mine because i have the lincoln wheels with the emblems, and down the road im sure ill have the lincoln tailgate panel as well. so as not to clash i removed or overlayed any emblem that says ford, and im getting custom side badges made.
