Hey SoundPer4mance!
Hey SoundPer4mance!
I like what you've done with your ride. I have a couple questions.
First, I have a single 12 Rockford setup similar to yours. With the way you built your box, does it accommodate two 12s and the amp, or what exactly do you have in the box?
Second, where did you find the LT Wheels and what did you pay?

hey!! haha suprisingly this is not the first thread with the same title
the way i built my box, i do NOT have room for 2 subs. in fact, it is undersized for the one i have, and im going to have to add a little volume this week by adding a "hump" to the front on the top, should make it about level with the center arm rest, but i will lose the dash cupholders
not something i wanted to do, but i was told by my friend that i trust that i need more volume. inside the box, its only about 6-7 inches tall, so as it is right now, its right around 1 cubic foot. the amp i just have mounted on the floor behind the box. when i redo the box this week, ill take lots of pics for you, because its hard to explain how i notched the box around the brackets i had to fab.
as far as the wheels, they are actually navigator wheels, and they are an option on the LT, but ive NEVER seen them on one in person, i have the 7 spoke, ball milled, machined aluminum ones on mine. i think they go for around 350 shipped a set on ebay, but i paid 200 shipped, with caps, by making an email offer to a seller after his auction ended with no bids. if you are thinking about getting the navi wheels, let me know, i have a friend who would want your FX4s
thanks for the compliments!! and i know ive asked you before but i forgot, do you have a 69 mach 1? i ask because i have a 70 torino, and its always good to find other classic ford guys

Sweet. Thanks for the info.
My rig sounds great right now, but I listen to rock, so I like the small box to keep the bass tight. No ports. I've been thinking about adding a second RF 12", but hadn't yet decided on where to put it. I don't want to ruin the sound I have now by increasing the box's cubic size, but I'd like to run my bass in stereo, even if it's linear as opposed to left/right.
The wheels are the bomb though. I've got my eye out for a deal on them. Thanks again for the info.
As far as the Mustang goes, I've had a couple. Right now, my dad has taken over the restoration I was doing on one because my job demands too much of my time right now, and any time I have is going towards spending it with my wife and kids. Plus, I have fallen in love with the new 05s, and after driving one, I heard the words come out of my mouth that I never would have dreamed to say 6 months ago. I like the new one's more then the 69s. Disgusting, I know, but I can't help but be honest with myself.
Torino's rock though. If I had the money and time, I would have kept the 69 Mach. It's going to be a trailer queen though. Show's, and displays. I'd rather have something I can enjoy myself. Old Fords are definitely the cream of the classic crop.

sounds good, im trying to keep mine completely driveable, its a major sleeper, 4 door, original white paint, original hubcaps, hidden tailpipes... with a 450hp Cleveland
its fun to tear around in, and ill never trailer queen it, i hate to have something i cant beat the crap out of.
im going to be working on my box this week, ill get lots of pics, if you want, so you can see how i built it, if you decide to go that way. im very happy with just one sub, especially in this set up since i still all the rear seat space i had before.
