Its Finally Time.....

Ok well now that Ive actually had a job Ive got a little bit of money for some tires/wheels. An added bonus is I work at discount tire.... gotta love employee discounts. Right now im sitting on a couple of options. I've got about $800 to play with. I was originally looking into the 285/70/17 BFG AT's which I can get for $492 and putting them on my stock wheels. I liked the bfgs because of the better treadwear and look. Though Im also considering the 295/70/17 Nitto Grapplers for around $412 because of the slightly bigger tire and cheaper price. To through another variable into the mix, my manager was able to pick up some very slightly used and great condition MB Motoring Blitz wheels for around $250. (Im not incredibly concerned with the getting new wheels but it seems like a good deal and they look good on "porkchop"s truck) Ok, so what would you do, the BFG's or the Nittos on the stock rims or Blitz's? Also keep in mind, Im trying to get off as cheap as i can so I can "possibly" get a body lift if it ever comes out like PA has promised or maybe an in dash screen if I save enough, but first things first and I dont want to cheap out and not be happy with it. Thanks in advance!

Heres a recent pic to help with your decision:

I would go with the blitzs and nittos.

IMO you should get the Nitto's and the MB wheels. The wheels breakdown to be $62.50 each and will be easy to sell on eBay for that amount if you should decide you don't like them. Stock wheels are nice but they are stock. Aftermarket wheels will make your truck stand out from the crowd just a little.

I agree, wheels and tires.

Do the wheels and tires it really makes them look cool. I went with the AR prisms and 265-70-17 Bridgestone Revos and I really like the look!

Alright well... I got the MB Motorings for sure. I ended up finding a set for $200 on ebay! I bought them form a guy in Bedford about ten minute from where my brother lives so hes picking them up for me tonight and i might be able to have them on when I go to work on saturday! I figured $50 a wheel isnt bad at all! As far as tires, I was originally 90 percent sure I was getting BFG's but now I seem to be leaning toward the nittos again. From personally working on both the BFG's are a whole lot harder to balance than the Nittos but the treadwear seems much better... Im just not sure..... Ive still got two days to decide. But right now Im glad I decided to go ahead and get the wheels!

If you go offroad, get the Nittos. If you don't, get the BFGs.
