$100 towards dent instead of mods
Gotta love coming out to your truck in the morning to find a nice half moon dent in the center of your tailgate!
Some *****less wonder decided to use my tailgate as his own personal punching bag. When the tailgate was dented it also created a dimple from the internal support structure.
Paintless dent repair was awesome though and did the job at my office for $100. Would have liked to use that on some spiffy badges or towards a AF1. But that dent had to go. It was to depressing to see that in the back of my truck. I only wish I could have seen who did it...

My friend just had the same thing happen to him sort of. He saved up about $3Gs to go towards a lift and some wheels and tires but at a party someone keyed his truck causing about $2700 worth of damage, to make matters worse his truck is black too and it looks like total carnage.
The good thing is you were able to get the dent out.

Repair was complete in under an hour. Probably about 30 -45 minutes.
They drilled a 3/8" hole in the side of the tailgate (where the cable attaches) and ran a tool inside the tailgate to get the dent out. Then used another roller device to smooth out the dimple. Its about 98% correct now. There is a slight imperfection in the area but would go unnoticed unless pointed out.
Worth the money to get it done right, just wish it didnt have to get done in the first place.
Biggest fear now is the same dumb@ss seeing it fixed and deciding to do it again.

My suggestion, camp outside tonight with your old buddy Winchester. If they come by again, all you gotta do is pump the old shotgun, even if its not loaded, and say "Freeze". Guaranteed to work. There is nothing more frightening than doing something you know is wrong and hearing that shotgun pump right behind you.
