Noise from front end when wet?

I was just driving through some water through the streets (mostly for fun), and when i turned the wheel to turn around it made a sound like i was peeling out? Could it be from the steering being wet? Sounds weird, :help: is this normal?

If you turned it full to one side or the other, it could be the belt slipping on the power steering pulley...Musta been some deep water, or some big speed?

You probably got some water up on the serpentine belt causeing it to slip on the power steering pump pulley. Should be okay once it drys out but it most likely shorten the life of the belt.

Only 15 mph, it was only 4" deep of water but lots of fun through the streets. Good to know what it is. I'll deal with that later though.

Thanks for the advise guys!

whats the big deal, your front wheels prob. lost traction because you turned the wheel more than the vehicle was able to physicaly turn
