I have X cal and feel it's worth it. I don't know how much horsepower gains it got but it is " peppyer" and throttle lag is totally gone. I use the 87 tow tune(I personally don't care for the hard shifts w/ performance tune)
Like I said, I feel it is worth it, just don't expect these heavy trucks to be a Corvette.
