Easiest way seems to be remove center panel (search for panel and remove) and then unsnap the panel. It has a lot of plastic on the back that you may have to grind away, but it is a great place to put switches.

Chris, did you just cut though the little empty spaces on that panel for your switches? I've been lookin @ putting my fog horn & aux lighting switches there.
No there was too much plastic in the back. We ground it down with my mototool, and then cut the little rectangular holes.

You have to remove the radio bezel then disconnect the wire harnesses to the a-c control unit, the cig lighter and then the seat belt on off, if your's is indeed in the bezel. This for me was tough because there was very little slack in the wires and it was difficult to see what I was doing. once you have the bezel free you can unclip the plastic face from the backside and do what you need to do to make the switch work. To remove the bezel just pull from the bottom by the ashtray/cup holder and work the clips loose from the bottom up. I believe there are three clips on each side.

I hope this helps
Scott
