Cool The Truth About Trucks..Pt.2

A narrow 2 lane road in a residential area...deep ditches on both sides with mailboxes.

My F-150 going one way and a Chevy Silverado going the other way. A pedestrian walking a dog on the Chevy side and not really enough room for all three of us.

Chevy decides to go around pedestrian and into F-150's (my) lane. Oh Shhhii....POP! Chevy mirror meets Ford mirror

Ford mirror: No damage whatsoever, it just folded in. Chevy mirror: Big black scuff mark on chrome and broken glass in road.

Ford builds the toughest trucks...You can be sure of that

This happened a little while ago and the lady driving the Chevy admitted fault (of course). I didn't have anywhere to go except into a couple of mailboxes.

I hope TritonXLT's bad luck isn't rubbing off on me....

Speaking of Chevy's....I was watching The news last night and of course there is a car chase , pretty normal in Ca. Anyway, some guy steals a new Silverado, in the end he flips it, you should have seen the front end cave in, i mean any truck would sustain damage, but it is so apparent that the GM's have little to no structual support there.
I would hate to get in a front end accident with one of those, my F-150 sure protected me when i broad sided tht Camry last Dec.

Wasn't that a white Dodge Ram that was being chased and flipped over down the embankment? It was riding on the rims on the passenger side just before it went over. Of course, I could be wrong, but that's sure what it appeared to be.
