haha, yeah i guess it did sound like that but no im not a vendor. i saw it today while scrolling through ebay. i've tried some intakes on my truck except the air raid and since af1 was supposed to be better i was going to wait for that one, but i didn't see that they were ready to release the info on the af1. i mean for the price i was just going to buy one and see if it actually worked and if not give it to one of my friends. but since the af1 i finally available i'll go ahead and buy it.

Yeah, I saw those a month or so ago. 50 plus about 25 with shipping. Might be better than doing it yourself... Didn't see anything wrong with the ones they showed in the pics, but Kinda wondered what would be in the box.

On the other hand, I have looked at several different intakes, and have a Brute Force on my 4.6, and I really don't see a lot of expensive stuff there. The R&D, and the certificates would be where the money is, so I can see some company doing 'knock offs' pretty cheap.

Somebody buy one so we can see.

I just saw those. They're the same company I bought from for my Honda Accord intake. Nice throaty sound, increased mileage by a little more than 1 MPG, simple install. The only thing was that the braces/brackets did not line up so I had to fab my own braces.

I might be interested in getting this one too.

So buy it, and take pictures.

I like my AEM, but suffer from curiosity..
