After watching the video about this engine I think they may be using a super charged version of it in the new GT-500. The video says that it is a modified version of the old 4.6L Cobra engine. The article I read in Motor Trend about the GT-500 said that they took the old Cobra engine and bumped the displacement up to 5.4L. So I think they most likley are using this engine in the new Shelby.

I thought the 5.4 was just a 4.6 with a longer stroke?

gt motor is a 5.4 4v could it be the same engine just not blown ?

I saw a supercharged version of that motor in the prototype Shelby Expedition in Vegas. It was supercharged and pumping out 550 horses! If Ford gives them the go ahead , they will hopefully build 500 of them. That was one sweet ride!

They control the third and fourth branch of Goverment, the two most powerful.

As to what he meant, all the restrictions came about during the Carter, and Clinton years. The Republicans don't care if you make a lot of horsepower, the Dems don't like it. Dems that do, are the ones that don't actually understand their own party.
