Wet back seat... Please Help...

I took my 04 scab to the dealership this morning because the rotors needed to be fixed. It shook like a son of a gun under braking. I also noticed last week that there was water pouring down from the headliner all over my back seat, I'm assuming from the third brake light seal. I talked to the service guy a minute ago and he told me the brakes were fixed, they turned them apparently. He said he had the brake light seal on order and I asked him what about my seat... he told me I'd have to take that up with the service manager...
Now, I noticed this on Friday when I was washing it... and this morning the seat was still very noticeably wet. I told him (the service guy) that I shouldn't have to deal with a wet seat that's going to get moldy and stinky this summer. My question for you guys is how do I deal with this service manager... the regular service guy was just like "what about it?" when I asked about my seat.... so.. if any of you have had this problem.. how do I deal with it.. I think I should get a new seat.. and possibly a new headliner because the water was dripping off of it onto the seat.
Anyway.. I had the Autospring 2" put on last week and love it... Here's my first attempt as posting a pic... Let me know how to deal with this guy please..

Thanks
Casey

The dealership in question could file what's called a "related damages" claim, since there's a TSB specifically addressing a third brake light water leak. Any damages incurred from that leak should be covered under a related damages claim.

And sweet truck, BTW.

Thanks Quintin... does anyone have any idea what the TSB number is for the third brake light? I didn't know about that one.. I just thought it was a "problem"

Thanks,
Casey

Your dealer should reference TSB 04-20-5.

Ford is responsible for repairing/replacing the seat also if it becomes moldy/stinky. Quintin has it right. Service Manager is just being a wanker.

There's something in the back of my brain telling me that I shouldn't address this reply. But I was thinking the exact same thing...:(

I think they also owe you some seat/carpet shampooing.

Okay.. I talked to the dealership GM today because the service manager was out or something... I told him that the service reps were basically being "indifferent" to my back seat problem and he took down all my information and said he'd handle it and give me a call... hopefully now I'll get somewhere with these guys.. by the way, they turned the rotors and now no more vibration when I stop yaaa

On a whim, I test drove an Aveo...just for fun. It was the first new car I ever drove where the power locks were non-functioning and the seat belt refused to retract after I was done. This was on a car with 11 miles. Almost as bad as the time I test drove a used 1978 Mercedes convertible and the exhaust fell off pulling into the guy's driveway...
