Do you guys know of a supplier for the black XL ac vents? I'm not into the BLING in the cabin of the XLT with the chrome surround on the AC vents.

also, has anyone tried to remove these? Are they hard to remove?

I could trade with someone that wants chrome. My truck won't be here for a few weeks though.

 

They come out easy. Open it, put your fingers in and give a good tug.
You can mix and match them. I have a set of black with black rings, and a set of Satin centers, chrome rings. You can move the louvers back and forth and make four combinations with them.

i have a set of vents from my 04 xl. i'd be willing to sell them cheap. they are sitting in my basement. let me know.

 

The A/C vents are easy to remove. Open them up, put two fingers inside, and PULL! That's pretty much it..

I havent decided whether or not I want to get rid of my black ones, but if I do, I'll swap ya. Let me know..

 

f150intally , best deal is to do a swap. My truck came with the black ones, I bought the chrome/satin ones on e-bay. more than 40 bucks. Swaps are the best bang for buck.
