Like it!

is your truck black or dark blue (can't tell by the pics).

Where'd you get it, and is it a replacement grille or an insert?

My Truck Is True Blue.

I got the grill from AIM it is a bolt over. You remove you ford emblem then bolt it on over the grill then bolt the ford emblem on top of it. It came unpolished and pretty rough it took me a lot of work to get it to look like this. I found out later I could have gotten it poliished for another $180. If you decide to get it defintley get the polished because it looked like crap when I first got it.

Looks really nice! But, IMO, the lower grille doesn't go with it too well with all those horizontal slots. Was the lower grille part of the kit too?

No the lower kit was part of the E&G classics grill insert set. I took the uppers off to put this grill on. Im not sure if Im going to leave the bottom one on or try to sell the whole kit on EBAY.

I think it looks like a cheap piece of shiny tin that's been stuck on w/ double sided tape. It doesn't even look like it belongs on there. But if you like it, then...

Looks awfully cheap too me. I'm gonna have to agree with GB on this. the chrome is looking like a cheap piece of coated plastic.

You shouldn't worry about what others think anyways. Just go about your business and let the compliments come to you. Cause if you ask, you might not want to hear what other might say.

Just my 2 cents though.
