tonneau cover and cash wash-
I just installed a Retrax bed cover on my truck and was wondering....
those with roller or soft tonneau covers.... do you go through the car wash??? I was wondering what the vac/blower does to the cover???? I used to have a bra on my old explorer and the vac/blower would want to almost suck it off!!!!
My old ranger had a fiberglass tonneau cover so it was no big deal.
I though my Retrax cover was a little more solid then it was but after seeing it in person and installing it... it has some give to in almost simulating a soft cover. I dont want to go through the car a car wash (ONLY TOUCH_LESS!!!!) and have the vac at the end rip it apart- lol

The Retrax cover is made of Lexan. While it has some flexibility (much of the flex while driving is due to the "play" in the rollers), I wouldn't imagine comparing it to a soft cover. It's not going to get sucked off by a vacuum or blown off by a blower.
It is susceptible to scratches, so be careful not to drag anything on it.
