superchip and airaid installed

Installed the superchips 87 octane setting this morning and it really woke this bad boy up. Thought I would try out the tuner before installing the intake. Got it out and drove it and it just seemed smooth yet very responsive when you want or need it. Took it out on the highway and it was up to 95 in no time. Went back home and put on the Airaid intake and was kind of worried because I didn't know how loud it was going to be. I read a few posts where people said it was real loud. Well put it on and cruising around town you really don't know it's even on there. But punch that accelerator and it sounds like a 4 barrel carb. I already had my Borla exhaust on the truck and cruising down the highway was just a little louder than stock exhuast and with the Airaid on I don't think it is any louder. So that worry is gone. As far as any performance gains from the Airaid I really don't know. Can't wait to empty this tank and put some 91 octane in so I can download the 91 octane tune. Sometimes you just have to treat yourself so I thought I would buy an early Xmas gift and I am glad I did.

Wink ahhh Ha!

Another satisfied customer. Glad you now know what that baby can do. Wait till you strap on the 91/93 octane program..

Sounds like you've gone in the right direction to me.
