I have the Volant intake for the 5.4 at home and waiting to install.

Any tips or advice would be great, the install directions aren't much.

I added a Magnaflow cat-back system (unhooked the battery for 30 min, didn't leave my lights on to drain all the way though).

I later added the Tow/Perf Tuner install from Superchips.

Should I cycle the battery again for the Volant install?

Will that wipe out my Superchips programming?

yes reset your computer after install

no it wont wipe out your SC install when you reset.

 

Make sure and take your time and check that the pipeing seals COMPLETELY around the throttle body. Very important unless you want to get a check engine light. Overall its not too hard, I have the Airaid, but the same concepts hold. Good luck!
