Which 17 inch tires do yo like better.

Planning on doing a 6 inch lift and putting 35/12.50R17 tires on. Only prolem is figuring out what wheel to put on. I really like the Eagle Alloy's series 186 and Centerline Crossfire. I see a lot of people with the 186, here are two pics of trucks I like. Here is one with a 4 inch lift and crossfire wheels, http://fordtruckworld.tenmagazines.c...y.ten?id=15739
Here is another with a 6 inch lift and Eagle alloy 186 wheels http://fordtruckworld.tenmagazines.c...album=1&pos=1. Ultimately it is a personal decision on what looks better, but just wondered what you guys like better and if there is another kind of wheel you think looks really good could ya post it, thx.

Me too.... everyone in my town runs the Eagles or another brand that looks exactly the same. Its nice to have a wheel that not many people have.

I also like the crossfire wheel cause the backspacing is the same as the stock wheel so wont stick out to much depending on the tire. But I was reading in another forum that you cannot have a wheel that has 6 inch backspacing with a 6inch lift. Said in the other forum the wheel would have to be 5 inches or less for a 6inch lift. Is this true?

Have a set of centerline 17's supposedly designed for lifted 2004 f150 see http://www.centerlinewheels.com/whee...t&data=6-135mm

Have not got them installed yet-- waiting for delivery of lift

ya it shows 4.5 inch backspacing for lifted trucks so maybe it is true, that you need 5 or less.

Victor w/teflon (series #367), or

I'm not sure if this will work, trying to insert a picture into the thread. If not I've posted a couple pics in my album.
